Welcome to Episode 2948 of the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Mechley and I'm so honored

0:10.4

you are here as you get ready to give yourself a little peace, energy, and clarity today

0:18.0

and in today's episode. As always, I'll share with you some insight about the week's theme

0:24.8

and that will be followed by a guided meditation and your theme for this week is Kaizen. It is

0:35.1

the Japanese concept of living your best life ever. It is constant and never-ending improvement.

0:44.8

And so to guide you along your Kaizen journey, we launched into this series with an interview

0:50.9

with Ari Meisel. He is one of the most productive people I know and he is also considered by many to be one

1:00.3

of the most productive people on the planet. He shares a lot of aspects of Kaizen that are important

1:09.3

to his own life and I want to share with you as well that Ari has a podcast and he mentioned it

1:25.6

Business Podcast and what he and his co-host do is they take apart some of the longest lasting

2:20.5

But first I want to share with you your technique for today. Many of you let me know that one of your

2:27.9

favorite techniques is Moudras. Moudras are a way you position your hands and when you do this there

2:36.1

are a lot of nerve endings on your fingertips and with in your hands. And it's considered to activate a

2:43.5

corresponding region of your brain. So it's very similar to yoga or even acupressure. So your

2:51.1

Moudra for today is called the Hakini Moudra and you likely do this Moudra intuitively. In fact, you may

2:59.5

often see on the news you'll see world leaders or business leaders doing this Moudra. It is the
