Welcome to episode 2,761 of the daily guided meditation. I am reporting to you after a long

0:12.7

journey home from where I evacuated from a major category four hurricane in and I was very safe where I evacuated and I'm very

0:25.5

relieved and grateful that our home was spared because we live on a barrier island but the hurricane

0:33.6

struck 40 miles south of where we live it created a lot of devastation in that area.

0:41.3

And when we were driving home, we ran into one flooded road after the other.

0:47.3

And I remember stopping in the outskirts of a small town in central Florida.

0:53.3

And it was a hardware store that was open and it was

2:05.1

store had opened up and they were doing the best that they could to get their lives back

2:11.6

together and then as I continued to drive I lost cell coverage because many cell phone towers had been downed,

2:21.0

so my apps didn't work. So Google Maps became useless. And I also did not have phone coverage,

2:29.2

so I wasn't able to call anyone to help me. My family, we all took our cars. So we were each in different

2:38.8

cars and we actually took different routes home. And the roads that would lead me to my
