We are exploring the theme of feeling safe in the world.

And in today's episode, you're going to be guided in a meditation

to have more confidence to believe in yourself.

There was an article in Psychology of Sport and Exercise

that examined how motivational self-talk improved self-confidence

and your level of anxiety and how this helped to impact

positive task performance in athletes.

The result was that when you give yourself motivational self-talk,

it can enhance your self-confidence and also reduce anxiety.

So in today's meditation, you're going to be guided

to give yourself this positive self-talk to feel more confident

so that when you're feeling like you don't have any control over

what's happening in the world or what's happening around you,

you have this tool within yourself to motivate yourself

and to be able to feel more grounded and confident.
