| 0:37.0 | that examined how motivational self-talk improved self-confidence |
| 0:43.0 | and your level of anxiety and how this helped to impact |
| 0:50.0 | positive task performance in athletes. |
| 0:54.0 | The result was that when you give yourself motivational self-talk, |
| 1:02.0 | it can enhance your self-confidence and also reduce anxiety. |
| 1:09.0 | So in today's meditation, you're going to be guided |
| 1:14.0 | to give yourself this positive self-talk to feel more confident |
| 1:19.0 | so that when you're feeling like you don't have any control over |
| 1:24.0 | what's happening in the world or what's happening around you, |
| 1:28.0 | you have this tool within yourself to motivate yourself |
| 1:33.0 | and to be able to feel more grounded and confident. |
| 1:38.0 | You also have the option to do today's meditation technique, |
| 1:43.0 | which is a mudra. |
| 1:46.0 | I know for many of you mudras are your go-to meditation technique. |

| 1:56.0 | it is simply a way you position your hands or fingers |
