This is Episode 1664. Welcome to your daily guided meditation. And I wonder, did you take

some time to sit quietly and sip tea possibly in candlelight? That was your challenge for

this week's series. I hope this will allow you to slow down and connect to the best part of who

you are. That is where you'll find your peace always within yourself. The peace you may find

outside of yourself. Beautiful scenery, a nice conversation with someone, a gorgeous day. Those are

moments of peace or happiness that's fleeting. It doesn't last so long, something else comes up,

and you're on to the next thing. The peace you'll be guided through in today's meditation is the deep

seated peace that can only come from within you. I'm recording this for a Christmas Eve meditation.

So whether you're listening to this on Christmas Eve right along with me, or you may be listening to

this at a different time that I've recorded it. And so I encourage you to use this day to simply

reflect. This is an ideal meditation to do during a special time. Maybe it is winter solstice or

Christmas Eve or maybe it's your birthday or you're starting a new season. You can do this meditation

ritual to focus on the light shining within you and to absorb as much as that light as possible.

So settle yourself down and let's meditate. Spine is straight. Eyes are lifted to the point

between your eyebrows or your spiritual eye. Your face is relaxed, your jaw is softened.

Relax your throat, relax your neck, relax your shoulders,

relax your chest, relax your arms, relax your hands, resting them in your lap, palms upward

or downward. Relax your stomach, feel its softened.
