So then back then you're suddenly getting on all these national daytime talk shows and things.

And with your TV experience, I'm sure that came in handy.

Well, I don't know.

I mean, my TV experience prior to that was hosting a music video show for NBC called Video Splash.

I was doing Saturday night top 10 video countdowns and I had longish hair and a perm

in the back and mullet style. Very 80s. You got to get that picture. Sorry. So, no, and you know,

I wasn't, I mean, the TV part of it really wasn't really ever about me. I was on them, but it really was just facilitating the opportunity for anybody watching to be a fly on the wall and a very sacred experience for a family.

There could have been many times that could have been exploited.

We certainly had many producers who had crazy ideas and we're like,

yeah, sorry, we're not faking anything and we're not going to pretend anything and we're not

going to recreate anything. So there were a lot of frustrated people by the fact that we just

wanted to play it straight. But we wanted to do the real thing. This is it. However they react

is how they react. We're not coaching people.'re not you know anything so yeah that's awesome over the course of our journey

we we reunited um i mean we lost count but if you looked it up online i think the number they say

is 40,000 families well yeah it's a lot. That's a lot of good in the world.

Well, let me say this.

It is a lot, I think, a lot of good in the world, but it was all being done by a broken

guy, you know.

We're all just living lives and struggling and doing our best.

And, you know, when the rocket ship takes off that fast, you suddenly have a successful company

or you're suddenly doing a lot of TV. There certainly were opportunities for me to have to

experience humility and sacrifice and, you know, make poor choices, hurt people I love,
