Most of our time is spent doing all the adult things. But there's also value in humor, joy and laughter. Today, Kessonga shares one of his favorite joyful memories, and how we can all invite more joy into our lives. Kessonga holds a Masters degree in Social Work, and is a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher. He also serves as an adjunct Mindfulness instructor at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. 0:22.4	Today I'm continuing with my mindful moments segment.
0:26.0	With mindful moments the idea is that we are fully present with what's happening and

0:33.0	With today's mindful moment I'll be revisiting a concept of mindfulness known as humor
0:39.2	and talking about how it showed up during my family trip to Los Angeles.
0:46.4	During this trip we did all of the touristy things.
0:50.5	The Hollywood sign, the museums and some of the famous restaurants.
0:55.8	At the top of our touristy things to do list was Universal Studios.
1:02.7	From the moment we arrived I was in awe.
1:06.1	It really looked and felt like a magical world.
1:10.4	Our first stop was the visiting world of Harry Potter.
1:14.5	And if you know me then you know I'm a big fan of Harry Potter.
1:19.0	Even standing in line for the roller coaster was amazing because the line was wound throughout
1:24.0	Hogwarts, the Magic Wizarding School.
1:27.1	I found myself yelling out spells to the dementors and the death eaters and reaching out trying
1:32.7	to catch the snitch.
1:34.6	My daughters were laughing at me so hard and I so didn't care.
1:40.9	I was having the time of my life.
1:45.6	It was soon after leaving Harry Potterland that my mindful moment occurred.
1:50.2	You are walking through the park when all of a sudden I heard the voice, the deep growling
