Greetings everyone, I'm Keisanga and welcome to Radio Headspace on this terrific Tuesday.

So this week I'm once again visiting my segment called Mind for Moments.

Those moments we experience in our lives where we are fully present to what's occurring

in the moment where we are in a space of awareness.

And usually these moments present us with valuable life lessons.

For the next few days I'll be discussing Mind for Moments I experienced with my family

during our trip to sunny Los Angeles.

And today's Mind for Moments is all about present moment awareness as it pertains to our

tech devices like our phones and laptops which were in full use as we were traveling.

When we were on the plane recently flying to Los Angeles both of my daughters started

off on their phones, heads buried deep.

Soon after they were watching both the Inflite movie and they were on their phones.

I just had to mention to them to do one or the other and they obliged without an argument

or an attitude.

My Mind for Moments occurred about an hour later.

My oldest daughter was on her phone looking at Instagram when she suddenly looked at me

with sleep and weariness in her eyes.

She then sarcastically says to me, I'm fully aware of the sleepiness that's present for

me.

I'm allowing myself to drift off to sleep now in this present moment.

She said it mockingly and what they like to call my meditation voice.
