Our guest today is Jacqueline Twilly. Her passion lies in addressing the wage gap between male and

female professionals, and she specializes in helping people prepare for critical negotiations

at work.

She works with women to give them the confidence they need to ask for what they deserve

in salary negotiations and on their performance reviews.

She shares some great tips that we can all use and she also addresses gender dynamics

in negotiation.

Thank you for inviting me. My pleasure. So how about you get us started by telling us a little bit

about what you do? So as you know, my name is Jacqueline Flea, and I teach women how to negotiate.

I'm on a mission to eliminate the gender wage gap.

And so what I do is I work with women in three ways.

In the corporate setting, I work with employee resource groups or women's initiatives,

and I teach women how to negotiate.

On the university level, I go in right before students graduate and universities hire me to teach your students how to negotiate.

And then I work with women one-on-one when they are engaged in the job search process are about to receive a job offer.

I coach them through negotiating a salary.

Very cool.
