Summary

In this episode, Jodie Cook and Chris Do explore how to think bigger and challenge the invisible limits people set for themselves. Drawing inspiration from The Truman Show, they discuss how individuals often live within mental “sets” they’ve unknowingly built, and how expanding perspective can break those barriers. Jodie shares insights from her nomadic lifestyle and explains how exposure to new people, ideas, and places can help rewire what we believe is possible. And why is that a problem, not thinking big?

So, I'm in Lisbon now and on the way here, I watched, I re-watched the Truman Show because

we talked to right last time and I was like, I need to get more familiar with this again.

And Christoph, the Truman Show creator, said a line that was, we accept the world,

which we are presented.

And I just feel like so many of us are living in our versions of the Truman show.

And the first question is often, are like, where are you from?

Or did you move here or that kind of thing?

And I'm always like, oh, no, I'm nomadic. Like I move places every three or so months. And sometimes people are just like, what? Like, what do you mean? What do you do for work? How do you do that? And it's almost like something that I think so normal is someone else's like massive pattern interrupt because they now realize that this thing that they didn't even think was possible,
