you could possibly do for yourself. How good is meditation for you? Well, this week as we continue along with our series on self-care for your mind.

I will share with you a little information on what meditation does for your brain.

Meditation helps you When you develop your prefrontal lobes, which are very close to the middle part of your forehead.

And when you are able to develop your frontal cortex,

then this helps you to reason much better to make sense of your oral to make sense of your emotions. It helps you to be aware of your emotions and to be

very in tune with what you should do next, how you plan your life.

And so in today's episode you're going to discover a meditation technique I'll guide you through

so you can do it as you sit down to meditate to help you make important decisions.

So you're activating this important part of your brain that helps with reasoning and planning.

So many times you can feel stuck when you sit down to meditate because

you can feel as though your emotions are in turmoil and it's hard to settle yourself down.

You may be running through your mind the same scene over and over again. This can derail you immediately and it's hard to get

back on track when you get stuck in a cycle of distraction like this. And so as you meditate, focus on your emotions and allow yourself to feel whatever you may feel.

But when you do this, notice carefully where your emotions are going.

When you're trying to make important decisions, strong emotions, and a whirl pool of distractions
