Today we're going to be talking about the government and taxes, which is normally a super boring topic.

But don't worry, we'll make it fun and easy. So I used to be very terrified of

taxes. I growing up, I, I kind of have always known I didn't want to be in a nine to five.

I, even when I was younger, I was like, I don't want to be a waitress. I don't want to like work a desk

intern position. And so I would like teach swimming lessons so I could have my own schedule and I would

babysit so I could choose when I wanted to work week to week. I would work at like the ANW stand at the fair

and all these different things. Personal assistant, you name it. I did it. Odd jobs. But what that

led to happening year after year is that I would get paid kind of under the table, but then my boss would claim it. And then at the end of the

year, I would owe so much in taxes. I can remember I was probably 18 and I owed like $3,000 in taxes

from my summer job. And of course, I was like, at this point, didn't care

at all about money, didn't really save. And so I had none of that. I didn't set aside money for
