So for me, growing up, I was the second daughter, which means I was blessed with lots and

lots of hammy downs. And for me in that situation, I got this belief and started to have this

belief that it was rude or greedy of me to want more. It was rude or greedy of me to be at the store

and want a new shirt because I

had my older sisters hand-me-downs and pass-downs at home. And also, especially growing up in

church and growing up as a Christian, I thought desiring more was sinful. I thought that, hey,

I should just be happy with what I have. Like, it's wrong to want more.

Like a lot of the good Christians, you know, I say that was like, quote, it's like good Christians, I looked up to they were broke or getting paid very little or missionaries and not getting paid at all. And all of the really

incredible jobs that I looked up to that were in the church or that were really impactful people

on me that were very like, you know, quote unquote good Christian roles weren't making a lot of money and weren't desiring

more money. So I thought to myself a lot. Like, is it wrong of me to desire more money as I got

older? When I was younger, I just kind of assumed I'd just be broke forever. Like I kind of just
