| 0:47.5 | In today's episode, you're going to be guided using a mudra meditation technique. |
| 0:56.5 | Now, you can still do the meditation without holding your hand in a position of a mudra. |
| 1:03.5 | But I challenge you to try a mudra. |
| 1:07.5 | Mudras are a fun way to experience a beautiful, rich tradition of meditation. |
| 1:16.5 | Mudras have been around for over 5,000 years. |
| 1:21.5 | So many people claim that initially they weren't so sure about mudras. |
| 1:28.5 | But after they did them, they were hooked. |
| 1:32.5 | So you could think of a mudra as yoga in your hands, as it's often referred to. |
| 1:39.5 | There are a lot of nerve endings on your fingertips and in your hands. |
| 1:47.5 | And so when you stimulate these nerve endings in a particular way, |
| 1:52.5 | it's considered to work like acupressure where your brain is stimulated in a corresponding way. |
| 2:01.5 | So the mudra that you can try today is the Vajra Padama Mudra. |
| 2:09.5 | This is a mudra that is a simple mudra to do. |
