Summary

We get asked all the time: how quickly will I feel the benefits of meditation? People want to feel different quickly, and get discouraged and may even give up if they aren’t seeing results right away because they have an expectation of what should happen. When we approach any new skill without expectation, we see the benefits sooner rather than later. Learn more about your ad choices. Hello and welcome to this brand new week and to Monday. It's Eve here. So I thought

2:02.0

2:07.0

2:12.1

so busy, I was just doing it wrong. Whereas actually it just took a few weeks to get

2:17.3

used to sitting with my busy mind. So rather than seeing this as a reason to avoid meditation,

2:25.5

it's actually all the more reason to practice. An analogy for this might be something like

2:32.0

not wanting to exercise because we feel unfit or perhaps don't enjoy it when being unfit

2:40.4

is the very reason exercise would benefit us. We have all lived very different lives,
