Welcome to episode 3, 205 of the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Meckley and I welcome you to the final episode of this week's series where you are cultivating the samurai

And this is a meditation series that has guided you on a journey of focus and

discipline to where you are the master of your destiny and you're doing this by creating what is called

Bushido and Bushido is the Japanese samurai concept of creating a code of conduct.

And that has been your challenge all week long, every day this week, you have been considering

your own code of conduct.

And this is the day, this final episode where you put it all together and you do

this by reflecting back over your week and taking a look at how you lived your life this week.

Did you live virtuously according to your code of conduct and you notice what may have

pulled you away from it, what you would have been differently, mistakes or regrets, there's no shame, blame or judgment.

It's all simply information, it's awareness. And the samurai did this evaluation where they reflected

back over their day. They did this every single day. It was part of their

samurai code. So as you settle yourself down and get ready to meditate, I invite you to reflect on the three core values of your own code of conduct and reflect on those right now.

So your spine is straight, your eyes are closed and gently elevated upwards.

Your body is relaxing. Notice where you hold tension in your body. Just notice where you hold this tension and release it as best as you can.
