And the last podcast, we talked about the cycles and how history may not repeat, but it definitely rhymes. Well, I'm continuing

that conversation. We just talked about what Nixon did. Now let's talk about Reagan and Reaganomics.

There was a guy named Lee Atwater who was a

student of the Southern Strategy. Student rolled up his sleeves came in. He was Reagan's guy.

And he was like, hold my beer. All right. So they figured out how to get them Southern whites off

the Democratic plantation. Say it that way for people who like to say stuff like that.

Let's take it one step further because we need to win.

We need to run a Boston.

But more importantly, we need to inculcate these laws into our constitution like forever.

We need to get it into the psyches.

So he was quoted, this is from an interview.

He said, y'all don't quote me on this, but they did.

And I'm going to say the N word because it has, because he said it.

And I'm quoting.

He said, you start out in 1954 by saying, nigger, nigger, nigger.

By 1968, you can't say nigger.

That hurts you.

It backfires.

So you say stuff like forced busing, states rights, and all that stuff.

You're getting so abstract now that you're talking about cutting taxes.
