examining history as kind of a marker for what we do next. And I had a discussion about not

just that, you know, it has said history does not repeat itself, but it rhymes.

We're in a cycle right now that we can take from what has happened before and apply it to the future.

So up next is a discussion that I had about breaking down the history of what happened before and what cycle we're in now and what might come next.

I decided to watch something that I didn't want to watch because I didn't want to be in that in that mood. Eyes on a Prize 3 is on HBO or

Max, whatever you watch it on. I watched it on Max. And I didn't want to watch. I saw when it came out

early in the month. I was going to put on my what to watch list.

I was like, do am I? We living through this. We are in. I was on the prize four or five. I don't know which version, but we're in it right now. We're going to have to document in real time and then put out video, 100 years from now, children are going to watch. Oh, my ancestors were going through it.

Yes, we're in it.

this is why we watch these documentaries as much as it is a reminder and some of y'all i don't want to

sit through oh my god but it chronicles a period of time those of us who grew up

having to watch my my dad made me watch eyes on the prize and i remember like oh the water hoses and the

dogs and it's like it was i was like and i got to go to school tomorrow but i went to all black school

till i was in junior high so it was not a problem where i had to confront this this kind of racism I grew up in a

black neighborhood I didn't have to deal with that that so many of our children and so many of us

are dealing with now I didn't have to deal with it but eyes on the prize three we who believe in

freedom cannot rest that alone yes what a title we who believe in freedom cannot rest. That alone.
