with Champion Ultra Runner Hayden Hawks. I've wanted to have Hayden on the show ever since I started

this podcast as a big fan and admirer of his. And just

this past weekend, of course, Hayden won and set the course record at the JFK 50-mile in

Maryland, which gave us the perfect occasion to finally connect and record a conversation.

Of course, we spent the bulk of the episode talking about JFK,

including the training leading up to it and the COVID considerations around it. But we also

talked about other things, too, including Hayden's recent move back to Hoka Oneeone, which was

his original sponsor. And we talked about his future goals as well.
