Welcome to episode 2852 of the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Mechley and I

0:10.2

welcome you to day six of our series this week. This week you have been exploring

0:20.0

your past. You have been honoring those who have gone before you. And as you've

0:28.3

done so, you've been guided using different meditation techniques each day to help you

0:37.2

release painful experiences from the past and also to feel gratitude for those people

0:47.1

who left a positive imprint on your life. In today's episode, you are going to be guided in a

0:57.3

beautiful flow meditation where you layer together the different meditation techniques. You've

1:05.2

explored a week long. And in day six of a series, you are always guided in this beautiful flow

1:18.3

as you have the chance to experience all the techniques together. In fact, this is the way

1:26.4

I meditate. I will start off with an affirmation and a visualization and then I'll

1:35.6

slowly and gently begin to relax my breath and do a breathing technique. I will often hold my hands

1:45.3

in a mudra and I often focus on a chakra. This is one way for you to truly transition from whatever

1:58.7

you were experiencing before you sat down to meditate to a state of inner peace. When you layer

2:05.2

these techniques together, you go deeply into inner peace. So that's what you're going to be

2:14.3

guided through today. A flow to honor your past. So I invite you now to settle yourself down

2:24.0

and get ready to meditate. As always, pause and notice how you're feeling. Make yourself

2:32.7

nice and comfortable and close your eyes. And as you close them, I always recommend you gently

2:41.6

elevate them upwards to the point between your eyebrows. This offers you a subtle shift

2:50.3

upward in your mood. Can you feel the difference? Gently elevate your eyes upwards.

2:59.5

Feel your spirits lift. Feel you reaching towards your highest aspirations.

3:05.6

If you drop your eyes downwards, you can feel your energy shift downward.

3:21.1

Gently elevate them upwards and as you meditate consciously, become aware of your posture
