Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Number one, Barack Obama will campaign for Kamala Harris in the last weeks before election day.

The former president is the nation's most popular Democrat and he still has a lot of influence over his party.

His efforts on behalf of the vice president so far have raised

76 million dollars for her presidential campaign and in the next month he will

travel the country to mobilize voters for Harris and other Democrats.

That will kick off with a trip to Pittsburgh next Thursday.

Pennsylvania is a critical swing state. And in other election news, Malania Trump made a rare break with her husband

Donald Trump. She voiced her support for abortion rights in a promotional video for her upcoming

memoir titled Malania.

Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right

that all women possess from birth, individual freedom.

That position puts Trump at odds with many in her husband's party,

including the former president himself. Number two, three former police officers were found guilty in connection with the fatal beating of Tyree Nichols.

Nichols was a 29-year-old father who lived in Memphis.

In January last year, he was pepper sprayed, punched, and kicked by five Memphis police officers after a traffic stop.

He was admitted to a hospital and died three days later.
