| 1:58.0 | Herbs can benefit you in a similar way as meditation techniques. So the herb for today is passion flower. |

| 2:13.0 | Although as always, you want to check with your health care provider before you take any kind of herbs, even herbs that seem mild. |
| 2:23.0 | If you're taking medication or you're breastfeeding or you're pregnant, or really just any time, herbs are powerful. |
| 2:32.0 | So they are very effective, but at the same time, don't be afraid of the herbs. Just make sure that it's going to be an herb that doesn't harm you in any way. |
| 2:43.0 | So here is a little about passion flower. This is an herb that can help reduce hot flashes if you're going through minipause or depression. |
| 2:56.0 | It's an herb that can help lower your blood pressure. It is very good to help you sleep better. |
| 3:05.0 | It helps to reduce anxiety. And one of the main reasons why I selected passion flower for this week's theme of self-love |
| 3:17.0 | is because it helps to reduce inflammation. And inflammation is a leading contributor to major diseases, including heart disease, which is the number one killer of both men and women in the United States where I live. |
| 3:38.0 | But it also, it's a leading killer in many other countries as well. And so passion flower can be a beneficial herb for you to help your heart health. |
| 3:52.0 | And it's ability to help reduce inflammation in your body goes along with the meditation technique for forgiveness. |
