Assisi wrote way back in the 12th century. So whatever your religious background or spiritual beliefs, I think

most people find beauty and simplicity in the prayer of St. Francis.

And this is really what St Francis's prayer for peace was all about. It was the qualities he wanted to focus on in

his own life. And so in today's episode, I'm going to read to you the part of his prayer that focuses on forgiveness

And I'll guide you to use a meditation technique for your meditation that you do today or you could be simply

listening to these episodes as you do errands or as you drive or as you get ready to drift off to

sleep and that's all fine honor your journey wherever you are in your journey if you're just listening, you're not quite sitting down, meditating

But if you do have the chance to sit in stillness and focus on forgiveness and do a meditation where you

So the meditation technique I'll share with you today is an affirmation.

An affirmation is a positive statement you you repeat, to help you focus your thoughts with intention.

And this is a great week to use an affirmation as you focus on creating your own personal foundation for your

inner life and you may not have thought about doing this for yourself before. So think about the

qualities in your own life you want to focus on. So before I share the affirmation let me read to you from St. Francis's prayer, the part about forgiveness.
