Something that nobody ever talks about is just how lonely being in business can feel.

It really can't.

Like, you feel like the pressure of showing up and showing out and looking amazing and all of those things constantly.

And that, you know, at first I think it's a lot of fun.

And but, you know, then it can get a little bit,

then add family or friends or whatever into the mix. And I think, you know, I do see that a lot.

I see a lot of people just say, I feel alone. And they don't feel alone inside the hub,

but they maybe feel alone in their communities or in their friend group because like success is bad or they don't want to talk about their

numbers or they don't have anybody to celebrate things with.

And I don't know that.

I guess sometimes in small business, we see that happen all the time, especially in our

mastermind

group, right? And we see people say, I don't really know who to tell about this, but I just had an

amazing day. Or I don't know who to tell about this, but I just was on my six o'clock news.

And we want everybody to be like, you rah, raw, yes. But there are going to be those people that are like, well, she's doing so well. I don't need to shop at her store. Her stuff's expensive. And that's the stuff nobody really owns and talks about, I think. Mm-hmm. Yeah. My mom always told me this in high school and it really annoyed me at the time

that was a mom I told my kids this. And that is like you are who you surround yourself with.

And I think that's like a double-edged sword because you, a lot of times as a business owner

in your community do feel very alone because you can't talk about the numbers, whether they're good or bad, the success

of what's happening in your business or you feel like you're on the brink of failure and you

don't want to tell anyone that either. So it can feel very lonely to not have people. So you have

to figure out like where are your people that you can talk to openly and honestly on a daily
