Summary

Let me come right out and say it, most of my life I have HATED change. Yes, hate is a strong word, but I resisted change and uncomfortable situations so much that it felt like the “right” thing to do… I slowly began to realize, accepting change and finding comfort in uncomfortable situations was the key to growth.

In today’s episode, Tyra is taking a deep dive into discomfort and Comfort Zones. Because as Billy Alsbrooks said, Your comfort zone is where dreams go to die. Life begins on the other end of your comfort zone, and if you truly want to live life.. We have to lay our comfort zone to rest.

Yea sure, life happens, things happen, and we have to learn how to roll with the punches. Even though that's a bit cliche. It's 1000% true. This week’s Affirmation is “ I am at peace even when life gets crazy."

Tyra takes some time to explain ways you can learn to master discomfort and truly start living without being a slave to the unknown world of being uncomfortable. Take a listen!

The Biggest Takeaways from Today’s Episode on Mastering Discomfort:

  • START! .. whatever it is.
  • Don’t quit even when it gets tough.
  • Continue to push past your comfort zone.
  • Embrace the “suckiness”
  • Surround yourself with like minded people
  • Celebrate your small successes and progress!
