I was just in New York recently, sitting in a lobby of a hotel that had that familiar hum of movement, bro rolling suitcases, espresso machines hissing,

elevator doors opening and closing like clockwork. I was there with two dear friends of

mine who are Jane Monks, brilliant women, talented filmmakers, and deep thinkers.
