I thought I'd share with you that loving kindness meditations are often referred to as hailing from the Buddhist tradition.

There are many different variations of the loving kindness meditation and I'll be guiding you through these different variations throughout this week.

You've already explored several variations and in today's episode you are going to be guided where you repeat a loving kindness thought.

This is an uplifting reassuring phrase that you repeat to yourself you can repeat it out loud or mentally to yourself.

And these are messages that you can also repeat in honor of someone else.

So if there's someone you're focusing on this week as your challenge you're on a loving kindness quest challenge this week where you do focus every day on someone else sending them loving kindness.

And if you could do so anonymously that would be the best.

You could think of yourself as their secret loving kindness pal.

I invite you to settle yourself down now as you send loving kindness to yourself and others.

As you sit up straight close your eyes gently elevate them upwards as you do so feel a subtle shift upward in your mood.

Notice how you're feeling tuning into yourself noticing where you're holding any tension or tightness in your body and gently begin to create space in these tight or tense areas.
