Summary

Have you heard the saying “everything has been done before”? That may be true, but it hasn’t been done by you! The idea that nothing is original can come up when we’re scared of trying something new, but remember, as long as you bring your authentic self to the experience, it will feel totally unique.  Learn more about your ad choices. Hey everyone, it's K-Sunga here. I just want to let you know that we've launched a brand

0:07.0

new call and advice podcast called Dear Headspace. Each week the headspace teachers, along

0:14.6

with some amazing new friends, are answering your questions about relationships, work,

0:20.7

life, mindfulness, and just about everything else. It's so different from anything we've

0:27.5

ever created and we're so excited for you to hear it. Dear Headspace comes out every

0:33.2

Tuesday on the Headspace app and anywhere that you listen to podcasts. Thanks for listening.

1:50.2

our talents, the things that we do best are uniquely ours. And this is something that I had to

1:55.9

realize as I continued to guide meditations and host events. The things that I were creating were

2:01.6

truly one of a kind, not because they were mind blowing, revolutionary things, but because they were me.

2:10.7

So back to that moment where I was guiding my first in-person group meditation.

2:16.0

What if I wasn't good enough? What if people hated my voice or I said the wrong things?

2:20.9

Even worse, what if nobody decided to show up for my session and it was just me, myself, and my singing

2:27.2

bowls? So the day arrives when it's my turn to guide the meditation for the day and I'm shook.

2:34.8

I'm a nervous wreck. I set up my area, hip-play on the playlist I had created and waited.
