Summary

We love how the wellness community connects online, and how much it’s grown! But it’s easy to see everyone’s wellness breakthroughs and ‘healing highlights’ on social media, and think that’s all wellness should be. Breakthroughs are amazing, but every step you take every single day counts. Today, think about where you were a year ago and celebrate just how far you’ve come.  Learn more about your ad choices. Hey everyone, it's K-Sunga here. I just want to let you know that we've launched a brand

0:07.0

new call and advice podcast called Dear Headspace. Each week the headspace teachers, along

0:14.6

with some amazing new friends, are answering your questions about relationships, work,

0:20.7

life, mindfulness, and just about everything else. It's so different from anything we've

0:27.5

ever created and we're so excited for you to hear it. Dear Headspace comes out every

Tuesday on the Headspace app and anywhere that you listen to podcasts. Thanks for listening.

Hi, I'm Dora and welcome to Radio Headspace and to Tuesday. Recently I had the opportunity

1:08.3

to sit down and share a little bit about my own journey with an online publication. They

1:48.4

trendy and glamorized. It's the latest thing. Mix that with social media and what we see is the

1:54.6

onslaught of healing highlights. There's these big catastrophic breakthroughs and testimonials

2:00.4

of great revelation. And it can be alluring to forget about all the hard work that you've

2:05.4

been doing every day when we see these single moments online. Since I've started working here,

2:13.5

there are people from my past who've been reaching out to me and wanting to reconnect or

2:17.8

rekindle an old flame. And just the other day I had received a Facebook message request from

2:23.6

someone that I used to go to school with and was actually quite close to. So we started talking

2:28.5

and it was like going back into a time machine and reliving so many old moments together.
