Summary

Every time we think we’ve arrived somewhere, life has a way of changing our destination. It’s a constant work in progress, even when it feels like a decision or mistake we made is final. When we embrace the idea that nothing is final, we give ourselves the grace to begin again, no matter what happened before. Learn more about your ad choices. Hi, my name is Dora and welcome to Radio Headspace and to Thursday. I wanted to start today

1:07.7

off with a question and that question is what if you were able to see life as a series of rough

1:48.7

and revisions. Not only that, but we're the writer, the narrator, and the editor of our own stories.

There can be moments in life where we think that we've arrived at our final destination or have

2:00.5

attained our final form as human beings, but what I'm learning is that there's really no final

2:05.6

destination. Our lives and our destinies are ever changing. And the more that we can connect to

2:12.4

that sense of impermanence, we allow ourselves the grace to make as many mistakes and revisions as

2:17.6

necessary. I can remember being at a point in my life where I thought, this is it. I had

2:24.5

decided to start going to therapy for the first time in my life so I could begin the healing process

2:29.5

after spending a few years really going through it. And it's funny how therapy works or even when
