Summary

Join my Clubhouse App - https://ericrobertsfitness.com/clubhouse-page.html On this episode, I break down exactly how to build a meal plan that is designed around your real life — your schedule, your food preferences, and your actual constraints. I walk you through a step-by-step framework covering everything from a lifestyle audit to setting calories and protein, building your meal structure, and creating a weekend strategy that actually holds up. If you've ever followed a meal plan for two weeks and fallen off, this episode will show you why that happened and exactly what to do differently. Because by the end of this episode, you are going to have a meal plan that is built for your life, not just some template from the internet,

0:21.8

and you and I are going to build it together.

0:24.9

And in this episode of the Eric Roberts Fitness podcast,

0:27.6

it's stemming from, I literally just got off a call

0:31.9

with one of our new clients, Carrie, who signed up for coaching.

0:36.4

And before she came to us and signed up, she

0:39.2

had worked with another trainer previously years ago who had her on a meal plan. And I used

0:47.0

1:20.9

I don't think that is a way to live life.

1:23.8

And I certainly know it's not a way to have a sustainable nutrition plan that you can

1:30.2

not only lose weight and get healthy with, but keep the weight off and stay healthy with. Because

1:36.7

that's what had happened to Carrie. She lost weight. Of course she did. She was eating like 800

1:42.4

calories. She didn't actually know, but when she

1:45.3

was telling me her meal plan, I was like, there's no way. That's more than a thousand calories.

1:49.5

So yes, she lost weight, but then what happened? She gained it all back and then some, because the

1:55.2

second she stopped eating like a robot, she had no idea to eat like a real human being when life gets busy. She had four

2:04.1

kids, four kids and a very demanding job. So she had no understanding of why that plan worked,

2:12.7

how to adjust it when life got crazy or how to build something that she could actually sustain. And that
