It was truly the best weekend for the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.

We just had an incredible time.

And if you are thinking about a 2026 fall marathon, get it on your list because we're going to run it back and do it all over

again today we're still talking about the new york city marathon though and my guest placed fifth

at the new york city marathon not even two weeks ago annie frisbee she was fifth overall in a time of

2412 running an absolutely stellar race.

This is coming off her breakthrough Boston Marathon this spring where she ran 223-21.

Annie debuted the marathon in 2021 in New York City running a time of 2262618, the fourth fastest debut by an American woman on

that course ever. Annie is living in Minnesota, trains with Minnesota Distance Elite. She's from

Wisconsin, went to Iowa State University, where she was an all-American and cross-country.

And she runs for Puma.

We dive into the New York City Marathon and how that race went down for her,

as well as what her training was like and what she's looking forward to in this conversation.
