Hey, Girlfriends. Welcome to another episode of the Girlfriends Podcast. I'm so happy that you're here. I'm always happy when you join me for another episode, another week. This past weekend, I had the great opportunity to meet some girlfriends listeners in real life. I got to meet Erica, who has contributed to the show before, leaving feedback at the Jacksonville Marriage Conference that I was speaking

at over this past weekend, to the end of love, which was put on by Paradisysus Day.

Beautiful conference, beautiful group of people. I met Erica once before at a different

conference in Orlando, and she's called into the show with feedback and sent me notes a few

times using Voxer. She knows. I love that. And it was really a joy to be able to meet with her,

however briefly in person. And also, Kristen, who has called into the show before, I really

enjoyed getting the opportunity

to meet her in real life, even though it wasn't quite as long a conversation as I would

have like to have. It was just a busy time. And another time I would like to be able to sit down

for real in real life and really connect with some of you, including people like Kirsten,

that I really appreciate the fact that you've given me feedback on the show, that you let me know you're listening. And then to get to meet you in real life is such a joy and such a privilege for me. So it got me thinking that at one of these kind of big centrally located Catholic events that maybe a group of us could make an effort to kind of get together in real life. I think that would be great. I'm such a fan of real life

connections. I mean, technology lets us connect in all kinds of ways, but nothing really beats in the

flesh getting together, girlfriends with girlfriends. I just find

that is so important and so helpful when we're able to do it that way. So that was this past weekend.

And this week is Thanksgiving. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? What are you thankful for?

I would have done a gratitude podcast, but we just recently did that at the counting your blessings

a few weeks back.

But I will share with you that I am grateful for the fact that my son Ambrose is coming home.

My son, Ammon, too, but we haven't seen Ambrose since we left him in August at Ave Maria University down in Florida.
