So the guest today you're listening to episode 354.

How in the world have we recorded that many episodes?

Well, I guess it's been five years so that's how.

Today's guest is Grace Barnett.

Grace runs with the mammoth track club.

She joined that in August of 2018, coached by Andrew Kaster and she's also a STEM lab teacher for elementary school.

So in this episode we hear a lot about what it's like to live in mammoth and train with Andrew and the team and be close with Dina Kaster.

How amazing would that be to start out your professional running career and be coached and mentored by Andrew Kaster and Dina Kaster?

What a cool experience.

Grace was seventh place at the Olympic Trials the Summer in the 1500, which was pretty darn impressive.

She had a chance to make the team after an impressive summer of racing.

She ran a 405 in the final, which is her PR?

Grace was an all-American runner in college, in cross country, in the indoor mile, and in the distance medley relay.

So she was a three time all-American.

In November, the weekend of the New York City marathon, she placed second at the USATF 5K championships.

So we actually recorded this pretty fresh off that race.
