I think at times it can be quite challenging to know what matters and to identify what to let go of. We can at times get distracted by the trivial stuff of the moment and can lose perspective of the bigger picture. What is the trivial stuff? The trivial stuff is the fluff which takes us away from who we truly are and our greater meaning. In the manic warp speed of life...we can lose touch of the "why" we need to identify "what" matters...the 'how" of our authentic values, the "how" of our behaviours which support these values, our internal dialogue, our actions...and then notice really notice where our thoughts go.....Because where we our thoughts go we also allow our health, our body our sense of self follows.
So know your thoughts and train your mind to be with what really matters.

Today we talk about letting go of what does not matter. We talk about having a well being project such as building a birdhouse( a story from one of my listeners), and I talk about visualisation. I finish with a meditation to help us stop procrastinating and to develop a sense of self in the moment.
I also reinforce the importance of journaling in the process of learning about self, staying with what really counts, and stopping procrastination.
