Alright Andrew, here we are now at the intersection of South 71 and some sort of major road here in Belton, Missouri.

We are trying to get to Springfield. We've been out here for probably 30 minutes or so and we've already had a range of experiences including a kid throwing pennies at us specifically at you, which you did not appreciate, obviously.

Yeah, I need a lot of time to process that. I'm not joking. I am furious at that little shit right now.

I'm not trying to laugh because it's not funny and I know your feelings are real, but the idea of you just beating the crap out of that kid is so funny to me.

Why would you throw a little kid? How old is that kid? 11 years old, 12 years old?

I'd say maybe rolls down the window, looks right at us and they just like throws pennies. It's like standing, he's got a stop light with his mom looking at us.

Then as she slowly drives by, he throws two damn pennies at my damn face and laughs at my face.

So we had the kid throw pennies as we've also had a lot of people just kind of beep and give us a kind of like, stay strong man.

And there's somebody who is asking for money on the off ramp across the street from us, a caddy corner from us, and he gave us advice told us to go further down the on ramp. He wants us to get a ride.

I thought he was going to be mad like we're on his turf, but we're not asking for money. We're just trying to get a ride to Springfield.

Now like for the podcast listeners, describe the sign that you drew on the dry erase board. I think it's pretty genius.

I mean, the key word there, Luke, is drew because we were trying to figure out we needed to put on the small, like what is this?

Foot and a half by foot and a half square dry erase board. We had to put where we're going, but I also felt like we needed to indicate somehow that we're podcasters or radio people.

So that it seems like, you know, it's kind of a stunt. Like we're fun. Look at us. We're fun, flirty. Let us ride your wheel dance for pennies.

So I drew a big penny and I said throw it at my face and it worked. No, so instead of we didn't have rooms to say podcast and then explain what RSS feeds are.

So instead I drew a pair of headphones and a microphone. I think it's Springfield really big and then there's a big microphone.

Oh, we just got a nice wave. Hey, you know, a wave in 25 cents will get you a stick of gum. How about a ride?

All right, everybody. We made it. Yes, indeed. We were picked up and driven, I don't know, three and a half hours or so, not to Springfield, Missouri.

It turned out, but to an equally amazing place known as the Munger Moss Motel located on the Mother Road. That's right. Route 66.
