Hey everybody, welcome to all have another podcast with Lindsay Heine.

I'm your host Lindsay, thank you so much for being here today.

Today I'm listening to episode 249 and I'm talking with Michael Wartian.

Michael is America's favorite serial racer.

He runs for Hookah on a on a and his list of accomplishments in the running world are

extreme and adventurous and exciting.

He didn't start running competitively until after college but he ran his first marathon

in 1996 trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon and the rest is history.

He competed in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic marathon trials and some of the other, I'm

just going to list a couple other of the wild accomplishments.

He's done.

He ran 631 miles across Israel in 2019 in 10 days, 16 hours and 36 minutes.

He ran all of the world marathon majors in one year and he also has competed in the

well-known Badwater 135 race as well as completed 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days.

One piece of his story that I just love so much is that him and his wife have traveled

with their 2 kids all over the world to so many of his races and events that he's done

and I just think that's the coolest gift that they've given their kids, that gift of

travel and we get to talk to Mike a little bit about that in this episode.

He's also a full-time ship broker and Mike runs on little sleep.

Very little sleep and we talk about that a little bit in this episode as well.
