Laura placed 5th recently at the Olympic Marathon Trials in Atlanta and I've been so excited to talk with her after that race.

She's a Sockeny athlete with a marathon PR 225 38.

But after she ran that marathon PR, she struggled with an injury for a very long time.

And I think her story is just such a story of hope and it's really inspiring to hear someone who is competing at the level Laura is competing at.

Walk through such an intense injury.

She didn't race for over a year after she ran that 225.

And in this podcast episode, we talk about how even though 5th place wasn't the goal, she wanted to make that Olympic team.

She really resurrected her career at the Olympic Trials and, man, I gotta tell you, she was a really fun interview.

We recorded this, it's been a while, like four or five weeks ago.

So I'm excited to finally get it out to the world and I have to say she's probably one of my favorite interviews I've ever done.

She's just super easy to talk to and at the end of this conversation, we got to get into a little bit of fun random Netflix talk.
