Today you're listening to episode 244 and I'm talking with Kira Demado.

Kira is a returning guest on the show.

She was episode 216 back in January and she also came back for a Patreon episode after

she ran the Houston half.

Kira recently competed in the Olympic marathon trials in Atlanta and placed 15th running

a 30 second PR and it's to note that she also ran a 234 in Berlin this past fall which was

a 6 minute PR for her then.

So then she then went to the trials on that super hilly course and ran a 30 second PR off

of that 234 from Berlin.

So Kira is just on her way to some really exciting things in her career.

She calls this her second round.

She is a full-time realtor.

She's the mother of two and after taking some time off from competitive running after

college and a little bit after post college, she is back competing with the best of the

best in the world.

So as many of you may know, I'm doing this reoccurring series on Fridays right now where

I'm bringing back a returning guest and we're just kind of having some fun with the episodes.

We're doing some more laid back lighthearted conversation type of topics after a little

recap of what's been going on in their lives.
