Marty recently placed sixth at the Olympic Marathon Trials in Atlanta.

He is a professional runner for Reebok, and he is currently in his third year of medical school.

He is also an NCAA champion.

He ran for Syracuse, and, fun fact, one of his teammates from Syracuse, and also one of his teammates now,

also placed in the top 10 at the Olympic Trials.
