Hein. I'm your host Lindsay. Thank you so much for being here

today. Today you are listening to episode 234 and I'm talking

with Alephine Tuleamock. Alephine just won the Olympic Marathon

Trials in Atlanta and I am so excited to have her back on. You

heard from her just a couple episodes ago as I had the opportunity

to speak with her and her Hoka on a on a Naz Elite teammates

Kellyn Taylor and Steph Bruce just two days before the race. If

you haven't listened to that episode yet, I highly recommend you

go back and listen to that. That was episode 229 on this podcast

and she was also on episode 165 of the podcast. So go back and take a

listen to that as well. Since I had talked to Alephine the first

time in episode 165, she had bettered her marathon PR. She had

taken that from a 233 to a 226 50 in Rotterdam in 2019. After

battling an injury, she went on then to run the New York City

Marathon in 228, setting herself up for success in the buildup to

the Olympic Trials where she had a fantastic race and I had so many

questions about how the race played out, how she was feeling the

morning of the race and of course how she celebrated. I know you
