Today you're listening to episode 186 and I'm talking with Jenny Jurek.

This is actually Jenny's second appearance on the podcast.

She popped in at the very end of episode 164 when I interviewed her husband, Scott Jurek,

live here in Indianapolis.

So it was really great to talk with Jenny.

I always knew I wanted to do a full episode with her to share her story and I just loved

getting to know her when she was here in Indianapolis and I'm honored that we got to have

a second conversation.

Jenny is the mother of two.

She's a runner.

And in this episode she shares with us her journey to how she became a runner from when

she ran her very first 5k all the way to her first 100 mile race.

She's done two of those by the way.

Jenny is a very good designer.

She's worked for companies like Patagonia and recently she created a really awesome

pack for ultimate direction.

So she's worked for a lot of companies in the outdoor space and she tells us about her journey

there like her career path from quitting a job in business that she really wasn't

passionate about to packing up and doing what she loved and pursuing that.
