I wanted to do something different with today. I wanted to somehow deliver or present this to you in a way that's interesting, informative and enlightening.

So I thought and thought about it and I looked on the internet at what other people had done which is what I I always do.

I start with TED Talks and I usually finish with TED Talks that's usually as far as I go.

Let's look at what being self-aware really is.

I've been studying the brain recently as well

and studying the difference between the frontal cortex and the limbic part of the brain and how interesting it is because the limbic part of the brain is the animal reactive type but it's also the part of the brain

where we are motivated where we feel cost and reward, pain and pleasure, where we feel inspired to do something.

To be self-aware is so much more than just being conscious. You can have a person that

walks around their day and they're conscious. They're conscious that it's daylight, they're conscious that they're hungry,

they're conscious that they're thirsty that they need to get things done.
