Ben is the coach and president for the Northern Arizona Elite Group.

You have heard me talk to a couple of his athletes on this show.

I got to talk with Kellyn Taylor right after she won the grandma's marathon in an incredible

time of 224, a huge PR for her.

In this episode of the podcast, we get to talk to Ben about how he started that group,

his vision and his passion behind it and what it looks like today.

Ben has done just about everything in the running industry.

He has a marathon PR of 218 and he also has a mile PR of 403.

When Ben was running competitively, he ran for the Hanson's Brooks Distance Project

there for a while.

And then guys, he also went on to be a special events director for a big marathon.

He owned a running store for a while.

He was a marketing director.

He was an elite coordinator.

He has done it all.

So when he started the Northern Arizona Elite Group, he had a lot of business experience

in the running world.
