Control yourself to achieve life balance. The key to balance is to have some control over ourselves. Don't give our power away to forces we cannot control.  
Maintaining a healthy balance is not only essential for happiness and well-being; it can support productivity, goal achievement and underpin quality relationships

We cannot control anybody else and if we wish to change others we give our power and our balance away.

Hello it's Lauren here and today is the third day of our course finding balance in the

mayhem meaning the mayhem of our life.

To recap the last two days and we've had a lovely two minute

meditation on each day and the reason we've had a two minute meditation

is that we want everything

accessible and achievable and and really possible. So we've had two-minute

meditations at the end of each day.

Day one we talked about the definition of balance.

Balance is the ability to move or to remain in position

without losing control or falling.

Today we're going to talk about control.

There is so much we do have control over and that's what we need to focus on. If we focus on what we don't have

control over, that being other people's behavior, situations, circumstances,

we're never going to feel a sense of balance.

But if we look at what we can control in our lives, in our circumstances, in our behavior, in our thoughts, in our

values,

values, we are much more likely not only to feel a sense of life balance,

but chew is to feel happy.

Now, we talked about in the first day we talked about Western

culture what it teaches us being that it teaches us to be really really

really fast, do everything with a lot of convenience and system, which makes sense to be

systemized. It makes sense to look at the processes in our life, but if we focus unilaterally on speed, then we're never going to sit there and be in the moment.
