Hey guys, my name is John Kim. I'm a licensed therapist and life coach putting

self betterment into a shot class because let's face it who's got that much time

these days. I come unpolished, unrehearsed, on purpose.

At the end of every year I write down my revelations. I think it's so important to put your life learnings on paper.

So you can actually see that you have had some, you know, because I think that when we are going through life,

we don't realize how much we've learned unless we actually sit still and think about them and writing them down is

really helpful because they are now on paper and you could see it with your own eyes that you in fact are alive and that your

year wasn't a waste and you don't feel that another year has gone come and gone and nothing has happened.

Revelations are everything.

Without them, there is no growth.

So here are my three revelations.

Of course I've had many more, but if I was to pick three big

revelations, these are it.

First one is, the sky will not fall.

I grew up absorbing my dad's worry and dread and panic and so as I became an adult it rippled into the way I lived. I was mostly, especially in my 20s and 30s in a

panic state, you know mostly about money and stuff, but more than just bills and

student loans. It was just It just became a habit to always wake up and

panic and be afraid and think that the sky's gonna fall. And I learned that when you

do that, if that is your default, you're in survival mode, you know, and being in survival mode prevents you from actually being in creator mode.

And this is the difference between chase and attract when you are in a

subtle panic constantly you become great out and you are in a chasing state.
