2012 Magic Mile and where we're we stood to watch the Women's Olympic

marathon on August 5th. There's some team G.B selection controversy, news of a

super fast track 5,000 meters in Paris, training talk is all about gearing up for your

autumn campaign, Tony brings us his trials, and we interview Fleet Street legend, runner,

journalist and historian John Bryant.

Tom, where are you?

Well, in 131 episodes, we have recorded

from some pretty wacky places.

But today I'm recording from a cinema. Really? Have you got popcorn?

Well I tell you what you might as well have. I'm at my good friend Jevin O'Neil down in Milton Keynes

and he's got a lovely house and in the roof of his house he has a

cinema complete with big red kind of velvet curtains and sofas and the whole thing so yeah

I'm surrounded by film posters and and there are films that Jevin himself has produced and directed and yeah, it's pretty cool.

Yeah, that's fancy and posh. We actually know.

I'm about to ask you what you did over the weekend, but of course I know because we were actually

together.

Yeah, and we had about the most fun, well I certainly had the most fun I've had running in a heck of a long time.

It was brilliant, wasn't it?

We did the Forest of Dean Park Run.
