Today we're listening to episode 128 and my guest is Jordan Hasey.

Jordan runs for the Nike organ project and she was a standout high school athlete.

She ran for the organ ducts and now she's a marathoner.

She has slowly moved up in distance over the years and she debuted the marathon in 2017

at Boston with a time of 223, making that the fastest debut marathon by a US woman ever

by three minutes.

The following season, the next fall, she placed third again in Chicago with a time of 220,

50, 7.

Most of you probably know that Jordan was geared up to run Boston this year and she had

an injury that forced her to pull out right before the race and so she's had to take some

time off recently but recently announced that she is going to be running Chicago this

fall.

So that's really exciting to have her back at the Chicago marathon this year.

I know that Jordan's chasing down the American record and I know that she also has her

sights set on the 2020 Olympic team in the marathon.

So we talk about all those things in this podcast episode today.
