Mario is a runner, a coach, a rider, and a podcaster.

Over the years he has coached athletes ranging from first finish lines, personal best,

and Boston marathon qualifying times to national championship titles, Olympic trial appearances,

international podiums, world championship teams, national records, and even the Olympic games.

Mario was also the senior editor at competitor magazine from 2010 to 2016, where many of

you might recognize his name from.

He now shares his thoughts on running and other topics in his weekly newsletter called

the morning Shake Out.
