in your marathon training for your spring marathon now so we've got some some

taper-based stuff to chat about we've got a Ranton rave. We've got an interview

with the limp with Paralympic legend Noel Thatcher. We've got some great

questions about a Swiss marathon. We've got a winner of the week and that's about it.

So Mark what have you been up to me? The for me, Tom, is I'm back running.

Yeah, I know, I built it up a bit.

I built it up slowly last time.

And then last week I was able to go out and bang out a few decent runs, no sessions, just

pick up the pace a little bit on a couple of workouts and nothing too long.

I didn't go out for any long runs, but I enjoyed the week. Good week. The weekend was

spent working and on Sunday in particular I made some really interesting observations at

the Dorney Lake Race Your Pace event.

I tell you, it was great.

And I was mostly interested in standing and watching the finish where the guy who finished the second race, the

improvers race. As he crossed the finish line he was really thrilled to come in

obviously first. He had a bandana on, looked a bit like John McEnroe.

And when he finished, he started shadow boxing, which I thought was brilliant.

You know, he did a few fast feet. Overall, I think people had the choice whether they wanted to race it hard
