Today you're listening to episode 103 and I'm talking with Colleen Quigley.

Colleen runs for Nike with the Barrowman Track Club.

She's a steeple chaser.

She ran in the 2016 Olympics.

She's an Olympian guys and she placed eighth in the world there.

Colleen started running in high school when she was also a model as well and made the

tough decision going into college to go ahead and compete collegently as a runner instead

of taking up that modeling career.

We talk about that in this episode.

She did win state her senior year of high school in the 1600 and the 3200 and then went

on to win an NCAA title her senior year of college.

So we talk about the delayed gratification and how important that is and how meaningful

it is when we work really hard for something and sometimes it takes us a little while to

get there.

Colleen is mature and wise beyond her years.

At the age of 25 she's experienced a lot and has such an amazing career ahead of her.

Colleen was actually on the show back in episode 50 with her teammates Courtney Freirex

and Shelby who with him.

And since then Courtney has been back on the show.

We'll have to get Shelby back on as well.
